In 2009, he received his Yon Dan (4th-degree black belt) from Tsutomu Chida Sensei of Renshinkai Aikido. Today, Tony Sensei is a respected teacher and mentor with a Roku Dan (6th-degree black belt) practicing Aikido and sharing his knowledge at Shoreikan Dojo.
Tony Sensei’s dedication to the art of Aikido is evident in his many accomplishments. In 2003, he and Lai Hon Meng Sensei earned their Nidan (2nd-degree black belt) and passed the rigorous instructor test at the Yoshinkan Honbu dojo in Tokyo, Japan. The test, conducted by Inoue Kyoichi Hanshi and Dojocho Tsutomu Chida, was a testament to their skill and determination.
Tony Sensei continued his training in Japan and received his San Dan (3rd-degree black belt) in 2005, passing his second instructor test alongside Chan Chee Keong Sensei at the Yoshinkan Honbu dojo. I
He co-founded Shoreikan Dojo with Lai Hon Meng Sensei in 2001, where they share their knowledge and expertise with students from all walks of life.
In 1997, he began his journey in Aikido and quickly rose through the ranks, earning his Shodan (1st-degree black belt) in 2000.
